We have WIFI but NO TELEVISION.
CHECK-IN TIME is between 4PM and 6PM.
CHECK-OUT TIME is at 10:30AM.
Late check-in and check-out fees of $10 per person apply unless previously arranged .
PERSONAL ITEMS LEFT BEHIND AFTER DEPARTURE:
Will be stored for two weeks after which we will dispose of them. Please contact us asap so we can make a plan. Postage and an additional $15.00 fee for items that are returned to you by post will be charged to your credit card.
ADA COMPLIANCE: Enfield Manor is a historic building dating from 1846; We regret that it is not wheel chair accessible. Therefore, no representations are being made about the common areas of our Bed&Breakfast related to accessibility and any inquiries related to accessibility of the individual rooms rented should be explored on a room by room basis at the time of reservation. Our website is in compliance with the current ADA laws.
BREAKFAST is served from 7AM to 9AM.
Please notify us in advance if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
GRADUATION WEEKENDS: Different rates apply for Ithaca College and Cornell graduation weekends. Please contact Inez at cell number 518-965 3797.
PETS: Well behaved pets are welcome in all our accommodations.
Please note that dogs MUST be dog and people friendly as they share the premises with others!
Mallard Cottage: Pets of all sizes and ages are welcome.
The Alex Haley Room and the Harriet Tubman Suite: We accept dogs up to 45LB and which are at least one year of age. Well behaved adult cats are welcome too.
Pets may be left alone in the accommodation for limited times as long as you are sure they can handle it.
Any damage done to any of the contents in the accommodations will be charged to your credit card.
If your dog is used to sleeping on the bed and other furniture, please bring covers for them to lie on.
PAYMENTS:Reservations are secured with a 50% deposit per room, charged to your credit card at the time of booking. This deposit does not include tax. We will confirm your reservation via email.
Balance of the bill INCLUDING all tax must be paid on arrival. Credit Cards, Cash and cheques are accepted.
TAXES: The Harriet Tubman Suite and Alex Haley Room: 11% tax (3% room tax and 8% sales tax)
Mallard Cottage: 3% without breakfast at the Manor. 11% will be added to breakfast at the Manor.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Because of the size of our business, cancellations affect us significantly.
Any cancellation is subject to a $50.00 processing fee per room.
Cancellations made 30 days or more before your arrival date will receive a gift card for the amount of your deposit which has to be used within 2 months of the arrival date of your original reservation.
If notice is received 30 days or less prior to your arrival date you will be responsible for the total cost of the reservation.
No shows are charged the full amount of their reservation.
Please note that our cancellation policy is NOT dependent on the cause or reason for the cancellation. We are unable to be responsible for elements such as bad weather; flight delays or flight cancellations; illnesses or injuries; family, pet or work emergencies; or even the most unfortunate of unexpected events, a death. Please be aware that you have the option of purchasing "trip insurance" that could protect you from the costs incurred due to an unforeseen cancellation. There are many suppliers of trip insurance and they are easily found on the Internet or often times, through your credit card provider.
CHILDREN and ADDITIONAL GUESTS:
The Alex Haley Room: An additional charge of $40/night will be added for a third person. We will provide a good quality air mattress, bedding, towels and breakfast. Children over 6 years of age are welcome.
Mallard Cottage: Has a love seat in the living area which can be turned into a twin bed for a third person. An additional charge of $40/night will be added to cover bedding and towels. Children of all ages are welcome and there is no charge for small children who bring their own travel cot.
